rep program
VFA’s “rep” (repertory) program -- the Wildcats -- is for those who want to excel at the game or who don’t find the competition at the House (“C”) level to be stiff enough. VFA aims to form “B” teams from U13B through U19B, with up to two teams per age group divided by birth year, subject to interested coaches and players. VFA also forms a “Mitey Wildcats” team toward the end of each Spring season to give interested House players in the older U11 birthyear a taste of Rep programming. VFA does not currently have any “A” teams.
How to Sign Up for the wildcats
Wildcats tryouts take place during the first or second week of each September. Date and time details are emailed to current VFA families and posted on VFA’s website and/or Instagram. There is occasionally an opening on a team in January, which will be advertised the same way. If you are interested in a specific team, please contact the head coach directly and/or email info@vancouverfastpitch.com.
VFA’s 2027 Wildcats teams have not yet been selected. Check back here in October for a list of teams and their head coaches.

VFA wants every child to be able to participate in sports. If cost of participation is a financial burden, please check organizations such as KidSport, Athletics4Kids, and Jays Care for grant eligibility.
REgistration fees
VFA registration fees for the 2027 Season have not yet been set and Softball BC has advised that its annual membership fee for 2027 is also still under consideration. For background reference only, registration fees for the 2026 Season are below. Updated information for the 2027 Season will be posted as soon as it is available.

Game Days and Locations
The Wildcats interlock with other associations in the LMSC for in-season league games. Although game days have not yet been set for the 2027 Season, LMSC game days have remained consistent for the past several years. Game nights and times for the 2026 Season are below. Updated information for 2027 will be posted when available.

Approximately half of Wildcats’ league games will be away, at other associations in the lower mainland. Home games will usually be played out of Trafalgar or Montgomery Parks.
