HOUSE PROGRAM

House is our recreational league play program that focuses on friends, fun, and softball skills development. 80% of our players play House.

Program Highlights

VFA’s House program runs from early April through late June or early July. Age group divisions are mandated by Softball Canada, and ages are by calendar year. U7 and U9 participants, please note that at least one parent or designated adult is expected to attend EVERY session with their child.

REP PROGRAM

The Wildcats is our program for “Rep,” or competitive, teams.

Program Highlights

These teams are formed after tryouts in early September. Many of them practice throughout the winter, with league play beginning in the first week of April and potentially running into the third weekend of July.

Clinics and Camps

VFA offers players small-group softball skills instruction by professional coaches throughout the year.

Program Highlights

VFA typically offers a 10-12 week fall session and a 10-12 week winter session of player clinics, including pitching, catching, or general softball skills options. We may also offer a spring session (typically the pitching option only) during the playing season.
